Playing with Monsters: Some Comments on Kirby Olson’s The Monster Match

Monster Match by Kirby Olson (EM, December 2005) highlights a number of points that may be worth further consideration. The author’s candor about his difficulty with self-typing, was not surprising. The Enneagram types reflect the fixations of personality functioning that show up in ordinary life circumstances. They correspond to what Jung calls the Persona archetype.
