From my earliest exposure to the enneagram, I have been troubled by the assignment of the sin of Pride to enneatype Two. This is not because the Two does not in fact embody a fair number of prideful characteristics, but because it is seen as uniquely prideful, while the other types are left to contend with other sins (passions, compulsions or fixations, if one prefers).
