Celebrating Two Years Online and Over Thirty Years of Inquiry

This month marks the second anniversary of The Enneagram Monthly online and an important milestone in the life of a publication that has quietly shaped the Enneagram field for more than three decades.
When we launched the new website two years ago, we began with over 600 archived articles — a treasury of essays, interviews, debates, and research that had never before been available in one accessible place. Since then, we have published almost 700 additional pieces, posting at least 28 new articles every month. Nearly 800 subscribers have joined us in this new chapter and we know this is only the beginning.
What makes The Enneagram Monthly unique is not simply its longevity, but its role as a forum where ideas first took root and serious dialogue flourished. Within our pages, readers have encountered:
The archives include substantial work from foundational figures such as Claudio Naranjo, Father Richard Rohr, Helen Palmer, Oscar Ichazo, and Don Riso alongside rigorous and original contributions from thinkers like Antonio Barbato, whose research into subtype structure and the newest findings on each type’s response to emotional warmth and coldness, continues to open fresh pathways of understanding.
And there is much more still to come. Hundreds of archival pieces remain ready for publication, along with new, previously unseen material scheduled in the months ahead. We are committed not merely to preserving the history of the Enneagram, but to advancing thoughtful, serious inquiry into its future.
Most importantly, The Enneagram Monthly is not aligned with any single lineage. It remains an open forum and a place where diverse schools and traditions can meet in respectful dialogue. In an era of branding and simplification, we believe the Enneagram deserves depth, rigor, and breadth.
If you are not yet a subscriber, we warmly invite you to join us. You can subscribe here.
Your subscription sustains this unparalleled archive, supports new scholarship, and helps ensure that the Enneagram remains a living, evolving conversation rather than a closed system. It allows us to continue publishing at the pace we have set and to bring forward voices both established and emerging.
Thank you for being part of this unfolding story. We are grateful for the nearly 800 who have already joined us and we hope you will consider adding your voice to the conversation.
With gratitude for your support,
Jack for the team at the Enneagram Monthly
