There are many heated discussions about the heredity of the Enneagram; debates over which point nomenclatures are the most worthy; whether movie characters (of all things) have been aptly typed, etc. The one thing I’ve never heard argued is whether Enneagram exposes personality fixation or character fixation. The only teacher I know who speaks of the Enneagram of Character Fixation is Eli Jaxon-Bear and I am fortunate to have studied extensively with him since 1992.
