In this chapter philosophers and their patterns with respect to the Enneagram are brought up to the present era with the last two main exemplars. Ancillary exemplars from a much longer period are then used to flesh out the third and final pattern, which strongly associates “edifying philosophizing” with Enneagram Type Five.
