Dear Andrea and Jack:
I just read Helen Palmer's response to my Madonna article [May ’97], warning me about the “hornet's nest” of typing individuals. I appreciate the warning, and I wanted to say that I really like her solution, which is a policy of self-selection as the final authority on a person's type. Self-choice is the basis for democracy itself, and her policy is one that I’d like to incorporate into my own activities.
