For several years, I have been a proponent of the “positive enneagram” approach; I even called my first book The Positive Enneagram. People often wonder what exactly this approach means. So here I offer eight different ways to think of positivity as it can be applied to the concept of an enneagram type (seven of which are pretty useful and one of which—the “Pollyanna” definition—not so much!).
