After reflecting on the nature and origins of such terms as type, essence, instincts and subtypes, it’s pretty clear there are several definitions in circulation. Mind you, we are speaking here of “relative” concepts that by nature are unfathomable and tend to play quantum tricks on us if we try to probe too deep.
