The Pre-Conference day was dedicated to an introduction to the Arica Method. Daniela Hauptman and Tato Gomez, both long time students of Oscar Ichazo did the presentations that contained several heartfelt moments and explanations of previous misunderstandings as well as a call to renew determination and to work on rapprochement between the Arica school and the Enneagrammers. Some of those misunderstandings were political in nature and others of the philosophical kind.
