I read with interest Mary Bast’s article, “Going for the Gold—Alchemy in Coaching” in last month’s EM, both because of its theory and thoughtful examples of how different types embody different steps in the alchemical process. I also had some thoughts in response to the alchemical stages she describes and what they imply about their corresponding types that I’d like to share.
